Documentation pack

Evidence available for product approval

The exact pack depends on the form, intended use and customer approval process. Available product evidence includes:

  • Product specification
  • Certificate of analysis for the offered batch
  • Country of origin and botanical species
  • Processing and packaging information
  • Storage guidance and shelf-life information
  • Traceability and relevant food-safety documentation
02
Analytical scope

Testing should reflect risk and intended use

Possible parameters include moisture, ash, insoluble matter, particle size, microbiology, heavy metals and other contaminants. The final panel and acceptance limits must be agreed against applicable requirements and the intended product.

03
Certification scope

Every certificate must match the relevant site and activity

BRCGS, FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, Halal, Kosher or Organic certificates are supplied only where current, requested and applicable to the processing or packing site behind the offer. Product conformity remains tied to the specification and batch COA rather than a logo alone.

Certification & controls

Approval evidence buyers can verify.

Our approval packs cover the standards and market requirements commonly requested by UK ingredient buyers. Certificate copies are supplied against the relevant product, batch, legal entity, site and activity scope.

Food-additive specification

Product specification and lot-specific certificate of analysis.

Food-safety controls

HACCP-based controls and supporting traceability records.

Supply-chain assurance

Current certificates for the responsible certified site or activity.

ISO 22000

Food-safety management-system evidence within the applicable scope.

FSSC 22000

Certified processing-site evidence where applicable to the selected product.

Halal

Current product and production-scope certification documentation.

Kosher

Current product and production-scope certification documentation.

Organic options

Certified organic lines supplied only when explicitly specified.

Certification is never represented by a badge alone. Validity, certificate holder, site, product and scope are confirmed in the approval pack supplied with the offer.
